MTV spinoff. Forerunners: any skateboarding compilation video + Divine eating dogshit in Pink Flamingos (1972) + Claude Lelouch’s deliriously reckless cult-secret short Rendezvous (1976) + performance art + Dom Joly’s Trigger Happy TV.

Result: stupid stunts, mostly funny. Jackass most unflappable and deserving of sequel: Chris Pontius. Best bit: semi-naked Japanese tai-chi bloke instinctively tries on panda-head for size.
