Ah! And so here we are now at our thirds lesson! This is an important ones, so take a note because it getting harder now! This weeks, I show you how to make a chips.

Now, we all knows that chips is made of a potatoes. This the easy part - yes, I know - potatoes are very dear! But we cannot make a chips without breaking a potato. This a fact of life. Of course, if we is clever, we dig our own potatoes. This cheaper, of course, but careful of the tax! See, is because we are doing a works, we has to pay ourselves a minimum wage! Then, is obvious, we pay a income tax! We can give ourselves the potatoes though, else we pay VAT as well if we sell them to ourselves! So just make sure you dig them quick. Or try not tell the Inland Revenue! I tried to tell them that I do and they laugh at me! See, you cannot win! I guess not many peoples digs their own potatoes these days. But it doesn't matter, because I never bought a cat license either, and they never bother me about that.

Anyways, we getting off the point now!

Right. Some peoples make a chips by firing a potato out of cannon at a tennis racket. Is true! I saw it on the television. Of course, we is not all so rich as to be able to own a tennis racket. But we can achieve a same effect using a piano.

Yes! Just a ordinary household piano. Is very simple. We merely load our potatoes into the top of piano, then all we do is plays a song! And as we plays, the hammer insides do all the works for us. Then when the song is finish, we just collect our chips from the bottom of the piano.

Now we haves a chips, but they is RAW chips. We don't eat raw chips though, unless it a emergency. We need to cook it. But - ah, yes, you are gettings a head of me now! - yes, not with a cooker (yes, is too dear), with a kettle! But not just put the chips straight in a kettle, no. We needs also a oil to make a chips. Somes places sell special kettles for just doing a chips in it, and call it "deep fat frier", but is just a big kettle really. A kettle with a oil in it. Yes, they con us so out of our moneys!

So, a where do we gets our oil of? Well, what is oily? That is right - yes! A fish!

Now we have to take a fish, which we can get out of a sea or river at no extra cost, especially if our husband is fisherman, but I'm sure we all know at least one fisherman! It not so hard to catch a big fish anyway, at least, he keep telling me so, because afterall, he caught me! I don't know what he mean by that.

So we now must extract a oil of a fish, this done simply by put in through mangle. See, here they is doing it:

Now remember to puts a bucket under neath to catch all of a oil, otherwise it Hoover time! Now we put all the oil and all a raw chips in a kettle, and, just the same as always, turn it on. And when kettle boils - guess what? - IS FINISH! And chips is Golden Brown and what a yum way to makes a meal!

Oh yes! Madame Zogologolou always make a meal out of simple things. Husband say that as well.
